You guys are funny! Thank you...I needed a giggle.
Nuhepper...I agree with you. You do what ever you need to do to get through tx. It doesn't always have to hurt :)
No!!! but if I do.. I'm going to have to tell her about the cigar vault. Maybe she can't get two minutes of fun :).
" Might even be better than sex for a minute anyway."
Yep, one minute sounds about right, you been talking to my wife???
:)
You go down to that cigar store that has all those great tasting cigars. I go and by chocolate flat cigars, cherry vanilla cigars and Cuban knock offs to
smoke every once in a while. Just going into the cigar vault at the Local
cigar store is a treat. Might even be better than sex for a minute anyway.
Go have a cigar....seemed to work for Clinton.
"As for sex, I never thought about wearing my raincoat for that, only when I go out flashing........ Good luck"
hahahahahahahahahaha!
:)
It sounds like there is some yea and some nay in your answer. If you don't mind terribly, we will go with the yea - on balance.
Enjoy your double win.

When I was on Tx, I liked to enjoy a cup of cappaccino, with very thick foam~
My Hubs has this rly cool e-ciggy, which has flavored nicotine in it, and every now and then I take a toke, and find it quite yummy, and somewhat alluring. But then I act silly, and pretend that it's a crack pipe, and think, "what the heck am I doing", lol
Good for you can-do-man. Congratulations all the way! I never ever argue with success and it is great to hear that you did it.
I haven't smoked or drank alcohol (except a shot or two of scotch after working all night in the mountains) for 20 years. Stopped using drugs 30 years ago. I will never again let something like that get a hold of me again. But, I do believe in fighting fire with fire. Do what you have to, to get through a thing.
Thanks for the blessing to have one. I just needed one approval to get this idea past my wife. :-)

Not as for being cured, if that was the case the warning label would be so long as it would have to list everything, plus no drug would ever be approved. Now there is certain meds that one can have a reaction to but those are listed in warnings............Really enjoy a good cigar, for what your going through you deserve it.
I smoked all through out treatment and was advised by my doctor not to worry about trying to quit until after treatment, I am cirrhotic and cured now.
You are sure right about exercise. But, exercise alone or while smoking seems to me like a waste of energy. I would rather be working on a project that involves some physical activity. Smoking a good cigar is very relaxing and enjoyable, which would be a real departure from taking these anti-freeze injections. Do you think that would be so bad?

I was thinking that maybe the feel good stuff from a cigar (like nicotine) wouldn't have to metabolize in the liver. Somebody posted a while back about a certain pain pill that metabolized in the pancreas instead of the liver.
Doesn't everything we ingest effect the possible outcome of treatment?

While you are on the treadmill smoke a cigar and enjoy. Keep up the exercise during tx it will really help you feel better. It did for me!
As long as one takes all of their meds and on time none of those things you mentioned will effect treatment........ Smoke em if you got em.
As for sex, I never thought about wearing my raincoat for that, only when I go out flashing........ Good luck
