Well, it's day 3 since I found out I was SVR...As each day passes, the reality hits more...-I'm actually SVR!!! I can plan the rest of my life now! -Not around Doctor office visits and hep treatment meds but around camping trips and bike rides with my daughter and husband! I'm going to be able to have a garden this year and I will continue to grow to health...Diabetes runs strong in my family, so this will be the year of losing the "junk in the trunk" and maintaining a good diet...Having hep C has changed my life in the respect that I appreciate the little things more, and worry about the big ones less...I no longer procrastinate, and I can always find a way to do something that I really want to get done...I raise my glass of rootbeer to all of the happy heppers of the world, and my trusty dragon slaying sword in salute to those on treatment...You can do this! Remember, it's all temporary...((((((((((((HUGZ)))))))))~Melinda

Dear Melinda,

It's been three whole days since you posted your SVR and I'd love to hear how your emotions played out since then.

First I imagine there must be shock, joy and relief rolled into one but what happens the day after and then the day after that? Is it a kind of elation that doesn't go away for weeks?
