I did the HEB screening test yesterday ( Hep B surface Ab, HBsAg Screen, Hep B Core Ab, Igm )
this is my result, can anybody help me to understand it more clearly? I would like to know if i have HEB or not and do i have enough vaccine or not so i can take some more vaccine, i remember i have the vaccine back in High School but couldnt remember finish all 3 shots yet, so i would like to know if i need any more vaccine.

TEST                               Result     FLAG     UNIT            REFERENCE INTERVAL

Hep B Surface Ab   10.82   High     Index Value 0.00-0.99
Status of Immunity     Anti-HBs Level
       --------------------------                             --------------------
Inconsistent with Immunity             0.00 - 0.99
Consistent with Immunity             >0.99
An Index Value of 1.00 is equivalent to 10 mIU/mL.
However the magnitude of the Index Value is not
indicate of the total amount of antibody present.

HBsAg Screen             Negative     Negative

Hep B Core Ab, IgM     Negative     Negative

I'm sorry, but most people on this site have picked up a lot of knowledge of Hepatitis C and know little about Hepatitis B or it's lab test values.  Medhelp forums also have a hepatitis B forum that would be more useful to you than this one.  There is a link in blue just above Return to Forum near the top of the page.
