Thanks DragonSlayer,

Do you know if they plan on a trial with 1A, NRs?

So far the trial has been conducted for treatment naive genotype 1's and also for genotype 2 and 3 non-responders.

An early leg of the trial that used 1500mg. twice daily for 4 weeks (with peg and riba as a triple combo) had a 85% response to UND. The results are not back yet for SVR rates. I did learn of someone from that early leg who just finished and is still UND.

The leg I was in was using 1000mg. for geno 1's (naive) like above with peg adn riba. I cleared at 4 weeks from a starting VL of 8 million. I am in week 22 of 48 so have no SVR data.

They also gave 1500mg. to geno 2 adn 3 non-responders like above and that data came back with a 90% clearance at week 4.

I hope that helps. I think you will hear much more in the next 6 months.

Both myself and Dragonslayer were on this trial and I believe he has been reading some studies that came out of AASLD in SF, you might try pm'ing him...  Also, if you haven't found it yet here's a link to his recent post on the topic:

And I have some info about the trial in my journal.
