6 Month (SVR?!?) PCR today...

Well folks, today is the day...My 6 month post treatment blood draw for proof of SVR! This is ridiculous. Even though I have been UND since week #4 of txing,  I have some serious butterflies...I know it's not the end of the world if I have relapsed...Of all the things I've disliked the most about the treatment process to kill this dragon, I've hated the waiting for answers the most...Ah well, good news is always worth the wait, huh? Wish me luck! (Maybe I'll buy a Lotto ticket today...)((((((((((((((((((((HUGZ everyone)))))))))))))))))           ~Melinda

Unfortunately, the Peg and Riba work on the HCV - doesn't do anything for butterflies.

I should add that the meds may have affect on moths - ask Jim for the studies backing that up.

Every medical test is hurry up ...and wait. It's awful!

I had butterflies even with a lovely member here sitting with me saying...'honey, you've GOT IT! UND 4 wks. than 4 & 12 wks post' and so on and still had them! What was great was the day I got my SVR news he got his liver biopsy results...scale..1! (basically no damage and really better than most in their 50's with no Hep!) It was a great day here :)

So in those famous words...'Honey, you've GOT IT!'....try not too worry and dance all day when you get that SVR news!

Crossing my fingers, toes and a prayer or 2 for you ;)
Can't wait to hear!

Hugs....LL

Make that three of us.  I could not wait the extra 4 days so I had labs drawn yesterday for my 24 weeks post tx PCR.  Can't wait for all three to put up our SVR posts!

Melinda, Enigma and JD, you each did it, took the test!  Walked into the lab, sat down and (calmly?!) put out your arm.

So much wrapped up in the outcome, hinging on those vials. I have butterflies in my stomach, thinking about it.

Congratulations on the long journey travelled.  Can't wait for news of SVR, SVR, SVR.

Enigma, a belated Merry Christmas and very Happy New Year's. I've missed you.

Wow! Thanks everyone! It's great to know I'm in good company...In  this "reality show" it's not just making it through treatment that "wins the prize" but the "golden carrot" (Or is it the grail of rootbeer?) of SVR that seals the deal...I'm more than happy to share the limelight! The more the merrier! Death to Hep c dragons! Rah! (((((((((((((((((HUGZ JD and Xen)))))))))))))) See ya at the finish line! ~Melinda
