Good article on drug resistance, patent issues, drug development, and gov't. regulation. Article focuses on anti-biotics and bacterial resistance, but I think many of the arguements can be applied to the PIs and any other drug where resistance is an issue.

My Vet has gone back to using good ole penicillin in many cases. For yrs vet have used La200 or 2000 and others. My vet feels that penicillin has been out of cow/goat/sheep n horse long enough to come back and do some good. And he unknowingly tx-ed my UTI ;-)
