No more War, jobs for all, the humanitarian forces are mighty.... may all vets find peace and the help they need.
Amen!! Well said
At my brothers funeral a man in a suit came up to me I never say him before, he said to me " I knew your brother I shared his demons, my daughter came in the room when I had a gun in my mouth, your brother is at peace."
No more War, jobs for all, the humanitarian forces are mighty.... may all vets find peace and the help they need.
all veterans of all countries...

On behalf of my husband, thank you for the thread :).
My husband was a combat veteran in Vietnam, and most likely became infected with hcv during his service years, and now is battling liver cancer. Seems so unjust that our soldiers have to suffer so.
Mary4now: when he first returned home, like your brother he hated what his medals represented and threw them in the trash... and though his service was 40 years ago, he still suffers everyday with the wounds the war. God bless all veterans of all countries... may we one day have peace and no more veterans of war.
May all the vets receive the care and support they need.... and may peace reign and may war be realized as obsolete
My brother received medals from Viet Nam and could not understand why he received medals for killing people...he died of small intestine cancer probably due in part from agent orange.
amen!! thanks to all the vets who have served this wonderful country and saved our freedom. my father was in the 1st wave at omaha. he was a ranger in charge of 85 men. before the day was over there were only 13 left. thank god he made it. he also served in korea when i was 1 year old. he rec'd 3 silver stars and 6 purple hearts. thanks for this thread. belle
Thank you vets!! Glad somebody started this thread as our vets need to be showered with gratitude as much as possible. If y'all get a chance check out CNN tonight, or maybe there are other specials as well. Thanks again to all the vets who have put their lives on the line to protect our great country...
Amen , to all of you . Thank you.
My Deepest Regards & Respect to anyone who has served for OUR Country. For those who have loved & lost their lives is the most unselfish act of humanity ! God Bless All of US & God Bless America <3<3<3
And my son did too. Thank you Lucky
Absolutly, when any person choses to serve they knew at any time they could be called on to risk it all.
A very unselfish act.
Peacetime vet here, does that count? :-)
My respects to those who earned that CIB!
Have a great Veterans day all
Thanks to all who chose to unselfishly serve and put their own lives at risk so we can live free in the greatest country on earth.
God bless and protect
Amen to that! Can I hear some more 'Amen" and Many Thanks.
