Congrats, not clear why you must switch to Pegintron however I know I was afraid of it because I had heard the SX were harder, it worked out, I don't feel any different on Pegintron than I did on Pegasys, adding the Incivek?...that is another story I won't go into here lol
This is my 2nd tx and I hae been told it is not as bad the 2nd time, while I would not go that far I am hanging in and pegintron is weight based so that is a good thing
Wishing you the best
Dee
Don't feel guilty I won't if I do wel!! Congrats. I will be starting treatment soon and pray daily I am tough enough to weather the side effects. I am also keeping my HCV a secret from Mom and Dad they are old and sick but at the same time I want to help educate people and promote getting tested. God Bless.
so... you were feeling bad about not feeling bad? seriously? silly you!
Congratulations on your results!
I've done treatment a couple of times before and know how horrible it can be - that's why I was so freaked out about not feeling crummy. I will have to change my shots from Pegasys to the peginterferon alpa 2-b RediPen this Friday. I am not looking forward to it. I was sick as a dog on that stuff. I am so worried that my honeymoon period is just a fleeting memory! I'm going to enjoy these last four days before I start my job at school again and begin the demon shots. BUT! I'm going to imagine that it'll be different this time and I will tolerate it better. "Pollyanna" lives!!! And to put it the words of Scarlet O'Hara as well, "I'll think about it tomorrow...."
Thank you for your kind comments! I'll keep y'all up to date - and when/if I feel like dying, I'll know you're here to talk to!!! :) Here's to a happy last four days of summer and feeling good! LOL
Great news. On the road to hep c free life:)
Good deal Congratulations!
