Want To Own A Maserati? Work With Adam Sandler

Isn't this wonderful. somehow I would prefer to see Adam give his money to some suffering people in his buddie's names then by purchasing maseratis for them. That would be giving back to a society that has made him disproportionately wealthy.

Do they know they're getting Maseratis?
Anita Buggs/WireImage Working with Adam Sandler has benefits: If you star in one of his movies, and it makes a ton of money, you might just find a Maserati in your driveway.

That's what happened to Chris Rock after starring alongside Sandler in the comedy "Grown Ups."

"I went outside the other day and I had a new Maserati in the driveway," Rock told Howard Stern on his Sirius radio show, joking: "Now I think that I'mAdam Sandler's b---h."

Sandler not only presented Rock with the $200,000 super-luxe Italian car, he ordered three more for "Grown Ups" co-stars David Spade, Rob Schneider and Kevin James. In total, that's $800,000 worth of wheels.

Very grown-up of Sandler, not to mention epic on an Oprah level of generosity. (Suddenly, aspiring actors across America are trading "I really want to work with Scorcese" to "I really want to work with Sandler.")

"The movie's like the biggest thing for (Sandler)," Rock said of "Grown Ups," out today on DVD and Blu-ray. "He appreciates the help."

Sandler certainly has money to spare: He currently sits at No. 9 on Forbes' list of the most overpaid actors of 2010. That said, "Grown Ups" cost a reported $80 million to shoot and more than profited at the box office with $270 million in ticket sales.

Sandler's publicist declined comment on the make of the gifted Maseratis. But it's safe to say Rock and the gang aren't returning their cars anytime soon. Or ever.

Celebrities giving cars to other celebrities is nothing new. Recall several months ago, when Justin Bieber received a $210,000 Lamborghini from Sean "Diddy" Combs for his 16th birthday. (Though it's still not clear if that was just a loaner.) Bieber's mentor Usher has also reportedly bestowed a Range Rover upon his young protege.

What did Bieber end up taking for a frozen yogurt run? The "Lambo."

Me thinks some people just have too much money for their own good, and no real concept of what they should be doing with most of it.

With great blessing comes great responsibility Grandma always used to say. Amen to that.

She was, my good friend, she was :-)

Doing good old buddy, week 8 and still no real effects. Hard to believe that in just FOUR MORE WEEKS I'll have my viral load results unblinded. The last eight weeks have pretty much passed in a dream.

I trust you are doing good as well my friend. Stay the course!
