At least the light blue BG is better.

When I opened the forum this morning the peach BG was back for a couple of seconds and then went away.

Glad you understood what I meant, sometimes I wonder if anyone feels the way I do about anything to tell you the truth. Yeah, here I sit typing to you, but no connection. It stinks. I hope MH can put it back the way it was. I feel lonely when I come on here. I don't like that feeling. This disease makes you feel so alone as it is, but at least I always felt like I was sitting at my computer and I knew others that I knew were right there and especially when I would see there name pop up- it was a nice feeling. You would think that because we can see the time and it says 1 minute or whatever, we would think or feel - OH wow, so and so is on,,,I can feel them here,,,,nope - don't feel that anymore..its gone.'' Oh well, take care.

This is ridiculous. Before, you only saw a member's profile if you clicked on their name. Between that and the "was this comment helpful" line half of the already truncated message space is wasted.
It feels so crowded now. We've only got one third the original format horizontal space as before which means each comment seems 3 times as long.
And what the heck is all the empty blank space on both sides of the dialogue box? Is that meant to be filled with advertising?

Myown, thanks for putting your finger on it, I feel really cut off from the community with this new format. I'm thinking, what's the point of even coming here any more as I am not feeling satisfied, just tired and harassed from wading through this mess they call a web page, after I've gone and fetched my glasses. It is just awful.

It seems like yesterday, M.H. asked our opinions on the change. It was almost unanimous, we like it they it is and not to change it. I have no idea why they wasted our time posting that thread since it is apparent that they were going to do what they want to do regardless of how we felt about it. Simple daily routines are hard enough on tx and adapting to change is almost impossible. After spending all day feeling like I am the only person in the world that knows what it really feels like to go through this, I look forward to coming home and reading this forum. It was like my place of refuge. I guess I will go watch TV now. Thanks, Med Help.

Its possible to manipulate your browser window so as not to see any ads, which I do every time I come here now, but it is extremely annoying looking at people's pictures for the millionth time. Doesn't make me feel chummy or connected to a "community" at all; it's just annoying.

If I could find the "Report Abuse" button I would report MedHelp for this abusive format change. I guess that report abuse link went by the wayside too. We saw this coming and we all spoke up against it but apparently the solicitation for our input was a just a ruse. It's a sad day in my opinion. But, it shouldn't surprise any of us because it seems as though money always does win out sooner or later. Mike

How about if MRE starts a thread and says that the new change blows goats and we all agree that the comment is helpful; say run it up to 1000 posts....all with helpful votes of course. I think that could cause a lot of healing in our community. (and a very excellent prank)

Didn't I tell you the format would make for slower loading? I gave up after 2 and a half minutes to try to load the political thread. My computer has "issues" but it looks like I'm not alone. I may have to move back to my windows 98 platform.
