Most people are nervous from the day they hear the word Hep C.
Treatment is just an extention of those feelings. It's completely
normal to be a little crazy during treatment.

Don't worry we'll be here to help you on the journey.
You can do this!!

I think your anxiety will go down once you actually get started with tx.

Yes it is perfectly normal, I'm still scared! I think I will be until I get my 12 week post eot UND and 24 week post SVR. You have an amazing bunch of people here to help you through this and you will find you have an amazing inner strength you never knew you had. Also just remember, everyone is different as far as sx go, just be kind to your body, get as much moderate exercise as possible, above all drink lots of water, and as RN said, a positive attitude is key.

Yes, it is very normal. I know many of us have posted about this fear and anxiety. I was very anxious prior to treatment. It was fear of the unknown. I felt a lot better after I started treatment> All of that anxiety disappeared.

You will do just fine. If you come across some bumps in the road, just post and we will respond. This group is very supportive. Plus we have had moost of the side effects so we do know some remedies.

Best of luck.

Yes, this is definitely normal.  Its scary to begin the treatment journey and to chart unknown territory.  Remember its different for everyone and try and keep a positive attitude.  You can and will get through this!
