update on our status

It's been a while since I have been on this forum, for those that remeber me I just wanted to let you know about our (my husband and my) status.  After completing Gilead study with GS9190 & GS 9256 plus soc, I am still undetectable since March 9, 2010 and my AST & ALT has returned to 25.  My liver is healing itself.  I am blessed.
My husband did not complete treatment due to alergic reactions to soc, his viral load is 5,500,000 but his liver functions are all within normal range.  He is blessed that his liver can handle this virus so well.  These are all new results from recent blood test we just found out about today.  THERE IS ALWAY HOPE.  KEEP ON TRYING. BEST OF LUCK

Thanks for the update. I am happy you attained SVR and am hoping that your husband will be able to attain SVR with some of the new treatments coming down the pipeline.

I am sorry to hear that your husbands results were not like yours.  I also had liver enzymes in the normal range for all my adult years.  It didn't seem to mean that much since I still reached early cirrhosis.  What was/is the condition of hubby's liver?  Did he have a biopsy
