i failed with single shot pegasys and 1200 mg. riba 2 years ago on 48 week regiment,and now im on double shot pegasys and 1200 mg. riba until undetected,then finish off to 72 weeks with single shot.im also hiv positive ,doing well with the virus.the fact that i failed first treatment,is this current treatments sucess in my favor taking into account my hiv status and the fact of not responding the first time.thanks

I dunno thiagirl's dad.... But I do know that we have a couple of HIV-HCV people here - check cirquedusoleil.  And maybe post a post about combo-infection... or dual infection.

Now - about the double dosing --- I've heard both good and bad about it.

So --- you'll have to ask the more knowledgeable folks about that.
