end of treatment

I was cured twice first with interferon and now with pegentron/ribaviron.in the first month i had good result and after 6 months treathment the result was undetactable.After 6 months when i ended the treatment i am waiting for the third result. Why my HCV was undetactable not positive or negative,and after the next result are more tests to be monitered again such as liver biopsy,etc, thanks for all replied

mad frogs what she means is if you were cured why did you have to do treatment again a second time?

that is why we were thinking that in between you had a relapse - meaning that the virus came back and you had to do treatment again to get rid of it.

Technically you are 'cured' if the virus does not come back.

thanks for your replay but what you mean by a relapse?,my doctor told me that when i was on treathment all blood results were good and even  response to cure was good.now i m waithing for the PCR 6 months after treatment,thangs again for my question
