Vent about Expert Forum
Does it bug anyone else that someone can come on the expert forum and start 2 separate threads with questions that could have been easily answered by any of us and on top of that it caused the expert forum to reach its daily limit of questions?
Take a look at the 2 different threads by loony166. No offense, but is this any way to address a Dr: {quote} “i was just wonder`n can ur boy fight hep c wit out drugs”
Maybe I’m just getting older and I’m not “down wit da lingo” but I could even let THAT slide if it wasn’t for the fact that the first posts ever made by this person took up the daily limit of questions.
Med Help…is there any way to limit posters to 1 question per day on the expert forum?
I know everyone’s questions are important to them but for some reason this just didn’t sit well with me. Everyone feel free to correct me if I’m out of line on this. Maybe I’m just having one of those days where the little things tend to get under my skin.
Can this be reported as miscategorized since the poster didn’t address the Dr. and my have meant to post in the regular HepC forum?

Glad to know that it’s not just me. My blood pressure is now returning to normal.
I think part of the problem is that people sign up with MH and somehow either find the expert forum first or think that because it has the word “Expert” in the title, then that must the place to get the best info.
I think many newbie’s may not realize that this is a Medical Help and Support forum and view it as some kind of chat room. They essentially jump in head first before figuring out how the forum works.

I'm sure there are alot of others who feel the same way, I was going to post a question to Dr. D at one time, but the limit of questions had already been placed. I agree with you that alot of the questions that are posted on there could easily be asked on this side. I'll have to check out that thread later as I gotta get to work. later
