They are different breed for sure, But I know the feeling. Bless them. and you two!

I actually bowled a couple of lines with my son and granddaughter. That was a gas! My son and I could each bowl a couple of frames while her ball was making its way slowly down the bumpered alley (she had her very own alley).
Mike: my swing is nearly as bad as Charles' and my bowling game is probably on a par with Obama's. I do have a wonderful wife, though. Thanks for the reminder.
Deb, Jan: speaking of touching moments, I was at the playground with my granddaughter on Saturday and there was this young Marine that looked like he was not more than 18 with his baby girl. I can't describe it, but these young men are really amazing. He seemed so young! Yet he fills the role of warrior and protector as well as the more traditional service as a husband and parent. This is all done for small pay indeed. I can't imagine what it must be like when a unit deploys and these young men and their families are separated by such distance and hardship.
Bug: Thanks for popping in. I am definitely looking forward to and planning on SVR. I have a good feeling about my chances.
Kristina: I vaguely remember some conversation about the weight of phones! LOL! You are right, this is much better. I remember being so tired that I could hardly speak, and I often let the phone go unanswered simply because I could not muster the energy to answer. Much better, now!
Elaine, Trish, Charm, Isobella, Jan: Thanks for being there for me and Liz.
Marcia: Looking forward to your last dose in a few weeks.
Lalapple, PortAnn: Thanks for your support and encouragement. Best of luck to both of you.
Liz: you are going to love the time spent with the grandkids this weekend. Looking forward to it.
There is life after TX! Thanks to you all,
Brent
Semper Fi, That explains why I like you so much! whoo ya! The few, the proud, and I am adding the brave!

Awesome news Liz, and you give them to us in such a livefull manner that we all get touched deep.
I can now understand what an impact Brents sickness the transplant long treatment and all has made on you dear Liz I can feel your suffering and that your one with your husband. Your such an heroin as Brent is a big time hero to me.
Brent when the anemia due to ribavirin starts to fade away its very easy to wanna do to much specially after so long time having to catch once breath after every step in a stairway
Just a warning could be the reason I now have pain in knees again.
Wish you the very best and SVR of cource !!
Good Gods blessings!!

How awesome you are as a wife! I'm so glad that Brent is out doing something he loves.
"Only 84 weeks" huh? Patience is a virtue that I was born without, (one of many)
Hope to pop in here soon and read about the SVR your hubby's attained.
Bug
Brent, I don't know how good your swing is but I have an vague idea of how good your Wife is and I think she's truly wonderful.
I am always thinking of you and hoping and praying that you'll clear this virus. I believe that you will.
Mike
If you had seen how many balls I completely missed, you would have had tears for a different reason! You would have cried to see how close I was standing to the ball (after I hit it)! ;-) I am not exactly hitting the balls hard.
I watched Charles Barkley playing golf on TV and figured there is no way my swing could be worse than his, and he continues to play, so I hit a bucket of balls with my son and one of his neighborhood jarheads (I say this will all respect, especially after I held his body armor wieghing around 30 pounds, in addition to the pack and field gear they must carry in hot places like Iraq while under fire).
Charles is a good sport about his swing problems and I thank him for being out there and giving others the courage to confront their own personal difficulties.
I could still walk today, so I think I am alright. I am definitely feeling better and I have more energy than before.
Thank you all. It brings a tear to my eye when I think of how caring you all are.
See you here next week, Liz.
Semper Fi,
Brent
P.S. Here's Sir Charles on the tee in case you have any doubt about his golf swing:

OMG - that is SO much better than struggling to pick up a phone!!!
Congrats Liz; to you both - I've been dying to hear how Brent is doing. I'm so glad he managed to get to go away (how often would he have dreamed of that alone). I would've been please to hear he was swinging a ballpoint pen, but a golfclub is FANTASTIC. You have both, once again, motivated and moved me. Thankyou.
These are the best posts to read. So glad to hear Brent is out there hitting 'em hard on the golf course. Ok...maybe not hard yet...but that will come soon.
He's a great guy and you are an awesome wife =)
Wish you both the best and a speedy return to a full, happy, healthy SVR life.
Isobella
What a wonderful post this is! I am also with the tears in my eyes. He is a hero and YOU too, to so many of us, he and MS who have made it through so much.
I am so happy to read this AND he gets to see the Grandkids kids! AWESOME!

Dear Liz,
Your post brought tears to my eyes, that Brent and you are done his marathon tx and things are looking up so quickly.
You and Brent are extraordinary people, sticking by each other the way you do.
My husband is in a hurry for me to regain my strength. The snow is melting fast and he wants me to be in shape to do the weeding. And I still have seven weeks to go!
You are stellar, Liz, and your patience sets a wonderful example.
With best regards and best wishes to you both,
Port
such wonderful news! hoping for the very very best!
Honestly Liz, your post has brought tears to my eyes. I'm just so thrilled to hear this for *both* of you. Thank you for sharing that. This is just the best news, just the best. And it's not that long after treatment either ... it's looking really good, Liz!!!! Can't wait to see the results of those PCR's...holding my breath for those.
And Brent...you *rock* my friend. :)
Love to both of you.
Trish
Thank you for sharing this with us. It has been such a long and difficult time for you all. Your dear hubby is one of my tx heroes and you are right there with him. I am so happy that he is doing so much better already.
You guys are beautiful, God bless!
Marcia

Wish you both well.
