I'm sorry i forgot to ask if i was right
The main predictors to response are genetic - your virus' genotype and your genotype. The degree of fibrosis (damage) becomes relevant in the later stages as you approach and enter cirrhosis. There are also many other factors such as insulin resistance and a patient's abiity to stay on the full dosage of meds that effect the outcome.
Thank you for your response my freind was saying his hep was harder to treat than mine & i did not want to argue about the fish size but i do know I was not as smart, I shot drugs in my system for 25yrs and i know i have had hep c for a long time and that my the degree of my fibrosis damage was 2 5 yrs ago and he just found out 3 yrs ago and his dr. said he didn't need to do the treatment and now he's doing it and it doesn't seem to be hitting him as hard as it's hitting me, maybe because he wasn't as dumb as i was, he just dabbled with drugs and alcohol for a short time.
One person's "medical procedure" is another person's "major surgery". It's always more significant if it's "me".
Yea your right i guess because he is my freind i personalized it.
