hurt foot

I hurt my right foot over a week ago. The chiropractor fixed it twice. Now I have it wrapped. I feel so gympy. Just taking it easy. I did take a tylenol. I don't even remember hurting it. I just changed my shoes and the other ones didn't have as much support and I must have twisted it.

our resident PT thanks for sharing your good advice..

been thinking about you.  waiting to share  when to doc to have thyroid checked thought insurance lapse will 5/31 (got letter),  so wanted to be prepared for none.   i was told by RN i would have to wait 6 mths. i mentioned most get 4 wk post but didn't think she would order. i found that there indeed was a order for 5/10 (i missed it) for pcr rna/qual/quant. most of other blood work came in all looks "perfect"  my 6 mth will be in October. if following works out not a problem to obtain as w/same hmo.

waiting for other results of pcr hopeful still UND. i will start new post when i have that news. oh, and because i am on temp disability, my insurance is reinstated, if all goes well the agency i want to work at offers same coverage - so likely can keep my hmo w/o a lapse.  i am excited about that prospect.

Use the good foot to lift you up, the bad foot lowers first to go down. That means you'll have to go/up down one step at a time instead of one foot on each step. Make sense? Up with the good foot, down with the bad, repeat.

Thanks for all your kind words. My foot is better today. I'm taking the elevator.

I think it's worse if you go down the stairs rather than up.

Thanks for all your kind wishes. My foot is a little better. I have no swelling just a little pain when I point my toes. Unfortunately, that's the foot I have to drive with. So I don't drive much. Maybe I have torn a ligament. Dr. said no ice or heat, it will make it come out again. Just keep it wrapped. Yes, I put it up. It's getting better. Thanks for all your concern.

Happy Mother's day! Is your foot still bothering you? Is it swollen or just painful? You really should  ICE it, ice, elevation and compression. Elevation doesn't mean going UP stairs:)

Interesting story about your hurt foot a few years ago. Funny how you might have dreamed you were kicking your X.

I don't think my foot was allowed to heal this past week because I kept going up and down stairs at work. We have just 2 floors, and the bathroom is on the 2nd floor. My desk is on the 1st floor. Next week I will take the elevator. I only had it wrapped one day last week. I will keep it wrapped now.

I was so surprised the chiropractor said it came out again. He said no stairs.

sorry you hurt your foot.

that happened to me a couple of years ago.  i woke up and my foot was throbbing, though I hadn't fallen or twisted it or banged it.  i figured it would just go away and so I stumbled through my job for the next couple of days but it kept getting worse.

i finally went to the Dr. and he took x-rays and told me I had torn ligaments in my left foot!

i have NO idea of how that happened!

I had to stay home from work and off my feet for a couple of weeks.

it never happened again.

i think I must have been having a nightmare about my ex and was kicking the cr*p out of him.  *LOL*
