You are on your way..... that's great. I'm glad your night wasn't bad. Sleep is a very difficult issue with me. I understand you need to take your ribas 3 hours before bed. I got to bed at 9 so that means I have to take them by 6. I work every other Fri. so I try to do everything early on my day off. How many ribas are you taking? If you take the greater number in the morning it will help with your sleep that night. For example: If you are taking 5 then take 3 in the a.m. and 2 at dinner. I you are taking 4 ribas a day then take 2 in a.m. and 2 at dinner. Or you could take 3 in a.m. and 1 at night. Depends on how many you are taking. Always take the smaller number at night. Good luck. You're doing fine.
Great news! Many people do well on tx, I hope this is easy for you, or at least manageable. Good advice from GrandmaA too.
I take two pills a day 600mg ea for total 1200mg. I don't know if I could split one of the pills so I could take 1.5 in morning and 1/2 at night. I'll see how sleep goes tonight. I think I kept my self up last night expecting the worse.
deb I've been drinking the water but been out doing my chores today. I guess I better not over do it. Thanks
Lynn
That is great! I did my first shot last week on Friday and had very mild sides also.
Then yesterday was my second shot as I do them on Fridays and I thought the sides would hit about 5 or 6 hours later as on the first one.
WAS I WRONG!!!
About an hour later I was in the bathroom numerous times and had to stay in bed for the afternoon. I slept fitfully last night and this morning I feel very tired and out of breath just drinking water.
I cannot imagine how the next few weeks will go and I am in AWE of those who do this treatment for a full year or more.
Glad you sailed right trhough it. Take your Evenint Riba early. If I took mine 7 pm or later I would have trouble sleeping. I always (well almost always) took it when I got home from work. Doint it then I could sleep like there was no tomorrow.
