Can milk thistle seed extract go bad?  I have a bottle that I want to use but don't know how long I've had it.

Anything will not be as strong with age. I doubt it would do any harm. In the future, you could keep it in the fridge.

I'd say it's best to get a new bottle if you don't know how long you've had it. Better to be safe and not take the chance, in my opinion.
Some things can start forming bugs from the grains themselves when their to old, like rice, cream of wheat etc.
