Congrats on being in yr 5th week, Getnby.  I found the "waiting game" part of this Treatment to be very difficult,  so I just tried to stay busy, taking my little dog on a walk, etc. I just kept my activities simple, etc, and went to bed early, while I was on Tx. Oh, and I also "hung out" on here alot, which is always fun.

Thats great, 4 weeks already. . . I know I could only think about that test while I waited, try not to do that, lol.  Sending positive vibes your way.

I also get hard copies of all my lab work,  i'm forgetting everything so I reference them quit a bit.

I like the file idea Advocate and I wish I had someone to organize my life, I forget everything right now.

I just had my 8 week draw.   So we wait together, Getnby,  but my lab RNA takes 2 weeks- canada.  Hopfully you get yours before then.  Looking forward to hearing.

Great Idea a file of files so to speak about all I know, all I hear, what I wonder and worry about, cost, emotions oh man just everything.  I wish ur husband and urself the best and back atcha soon...........Getnby                  I should not envy ur husband but it has to be great to have someone like you in his life  it would have to be so so wonderful to have someone like you to listen to me and help me get things done or remind me when I've obviously forgotten instead of criticize or fuss....                                            Getnby

Glad to hear you have completed 4 weeks and got your week 4 lab drawn. When you get your results, be sure to get a hard copy of the lab to keep for yourself. It is helpful to get hard copies of all of your labs and procedures. That way you can look back at your results and compare them or use them in the future.

It is difficult waiting for the results. Hopefully it won't take too long to get them. Hoping your VL drops significantly.

Best of luck with treatment. Come here often if you have questions or need support.

Glad to hear you got your four week VL done.  The waiting is hard.  Try as best you can not to worry about it.  I think you will get the news in a week or less, depending upon your lab, and I am sure you will have had either a significant drop in VL or you will be Undetected (UND).  Either way will be wonderful news.  One of the things that I do is I use the Hep C Tracker here on Medhelp to keep track of all of my husband's important info related to his Hep C.  You can view it if you wish by clicking on my name and going to my husband's Hep C tracker on my page. I also set up a big accordion file here at home and organized all of his information shortly after he was diagnosed with Hep C.  I have different sections, like "history", "diagnosis", "lab results", "bills", "insurance information", "research", etc. and I only put paperwork related to Hep C or his liver in there.  This really helps, so that I can go back and look info up later if I need it.  I also keep a little spiral bound notebook that I take with me to all of his appointments.  I write down questions ahead of time, so I can make sure I ask everything we want to know.  I also take notes, so that I can remember or look things up later.  I know it's a lot of information, and it can be very overwhelming.  Hope these tips help.
Take care,
