where to go next

Hi, My name is Tim
Two years ago i was told i had hep c. Four months ago i got sick with severe leg adema and the Droctors tell me my liver is failing fast. I'm loosing my work insurance in three weeks and do not know where to go for the help that ill need. or even really know where to start. After reading all the forms people have written, it looks like i'm in for quite a ride. The meds i'm taking make me really sick but i need them for the severe pain. I have read where people go into comas with this disease is this true. I've become really emotional My girlfriend has been very supportive, seeing as without her I'm all alone with no family.

Here are a couple of phone numbers for patient assistance; these supplement the link that 'desrt' provided--

Pegassist (Roche Pegasys system): 1-877-734-2797

Commitment to Care (Schering- Plough PEG-Intron system): 1-800-521-7157

Good luck--

Bill

One place to check would be the manufacturers of the different PEG-IFNs. Last I heard, both have programs to help those who can't afford tx.
