Diagnosed  with Hernia, Need to know will it be successful & effective to have a treatment done in India?

I just saw this post, but when you factor in the cost of the flight and the operation how low are we really talking about?
There are some places here that do the same thing here, do not except Ins. According to them it is a way to keep there costs down??  I found some online for my mother, one is called No Ins. Surgery in Las Vegas someone said online they paid $5000. for a hernia repair. I have no claims to this clinic and no prior appointment so I definitely would do more research before getting into anything before you go there. Because there claim to fame is a no mesh repair, which is supposed to be less risky, according to them not me.
I have no opinion, but it might be worth a look to see if you can find a clinic here that can do it with out spending $1500. just for airfare. Unless you get those $10. airfares which in turn makes it the same price no matter where you go.
