3 lumps at base of penis

Hello,
I have three bumps/lumps of varying size and magnitude develop at the base of my penis. the first is a quite large red bump about a week old closer to base in the pubis hair. It seemed to look like a bugbite and sortof itched and eventually became a little whitehead, which I popped and some white fluid and blood came out. the other two are sort of on the side and are much smaller lumps that are more internally and are in an area which was recently shaved. I am extremely worried they because they have all appeared spontaneously but are not located in a cluster whatsoever. is this herpes.

I think you are spending a lot of time looking at your genitals at this point ;)

these don't sound like herpes. until monday, give the area some tlc and no more picking.

No your right. I have an appt for monday so I should know in a week. However, my mind is def. still not at ease...What is really weird to me (dont know if this is more of a good sign or bad sign in regards to herpes) is that the 3 bumps I have are all quite different, especially the large one basically in the middle of my pubic region. In chronological order of appearance #1, the large one that resembles a pimple has been there for over a week, #2 I'm pretty sure is ingrown hair (I can see the little hair trapped in there) and is by far the smallest and i guess resulted from shaving about 2 weeks ago (is this accurate) and #3 has probably been here less than a week, resembles more of #2, is close to #2, but is one the base of penis/ outter pubis region where I shaved. #3 resembles a BB under the skin, possibly a bit smaller, and is sort of shinny, but no visible ingrown hair. Probably will be my last question becuase you have helped me more than enough, and i am goin to get tested regardless, but do you think this is herpes or what. and if not why are they all different.

odds are that neither you nor your partner have ever been tested for herpes to know who has what. It's not a part of routine std testing.

stop picking!!!!

Ok that is good news. It has been three weeks since I had sex, but this was with a friend of mine who I have known for awhile who im pretty sure is clean. Before that 2 to 3 months. I just rechecked my large lump and kinda picked at the little crust and kinda squeezed (i know I shouldnt do) and a little more puss came out. So it has been 3 days in between the times it has had alittle puss came out. Also, the smallest one, which developed second, i am almost positive is an ingrown hair because i can see a little hair in it, but the middle one ( on base of penis, fringe of pubis hair where I shaved) doesn't have a visible hair and is alittle bigger than the confirmed ingrown hair. Another note, where the large one is that has had puss come out was NOT in an area i fully shaved, maybe just a slight trim. Thanks again, your really helping me out.

everything goes through the crusting stage of healing dear.

odds are these are ingrown hairs or folluculitis based on what you've said. follow up when you can.

when was the last time you had sex prior to your symptoms?

Grace and IDTB,
thanks you for your help. unfortunately I'm in a position for about a week where I cannot get looked at, so consequentially I am freaking out. The larger one located in my pubic region has formed a small amount of white crust basically right over where it was popped ( approx. covering about 1/10 of the overall large red bump) I have read herpes sores crust over, so this has added to my anxiety, but I am not sure if this is as drastic as the crusting/ scabbing refered to in herpes sores. Additionally there are a few hairs coming out of the large red bump.

the best thing to do is to be seen and get this looked at to find out what is going on. This can be any number of things going on and it's hard for us to get the right angle at home to see things right to see what is going on.

stop back and let us know how your appointment went!

also, no shaving again until the skin is back to normal.

Could be just a puss bump or pimples after shaving.
