Shedding possible if someone never gets OBs?

If someone has HSV-1 orally, but never has visual symptoms, do they still shed asymptomatically just like someone who does have recurrent OB's?  I'm talking about the  mouth here.  In other words, is 80% of our population shedding X% of the time?  Are we all in constant danger of getting HSV-1 on our genitals?  If so, what is the X number?  THanks and god bless you guys for tending to our questions.

If you already have HSV-1, you would not be in "constant danger" of getting it on your genitals.

Yes you still shed hsv1 orally periodically even if you aren't having obvious oral ob's.
