Herpes

I tested positive for HSV 2 several years ago but do not have traditional outbreaks. There are small paper cut lesions that appear at random times and pretty often. I recently had the test reran by accidnet at my Dr. The result is HSV 2 glycoprotein AB IGG- 11.2. I am trying to figure out if I am actively infected and can transfer to others. I have been told multiple different things. At the moment my thought is to do a confirmatory test with the Western Blot test. Thoughts please?

What is the non positive value for your test? Was it >.90
If so then you are positive for hsv2. You can spread the virus. Even though no symptoms may be present.
Hsv sheds an average of 10-20% of days. This means you may have no symptoms but the virus is at the surface.
Hsv is common and protective measures are effective. Not perfect but effective. Antiviral meds help to reduce outbreaks and reduce shedding by about half. Add that with condom protected Intercourse the odds of spreading the virus is greatly reduced.
Seeking the western blot is never a bad idea. It is the gold standard of hsv testing.
Please see if you can find the values of the test. Meaning what's the negative cut off
