Considering I did not see any results, what if he positive with Hsv2?
What will I do?
He was married before for 7 years and he told me that he never infected her ex-wife.
Right now I'm paranoid, I love him but I'm questioning my self now if my love is enough to accept this.
I don't even know if I can still kiss him the way I kiss him before.
I know that it's not right to judge him with his past and should not affect our future.
Any precautions, medication I can take so I can be 100% free or will not be infected?
Do I need counseling? Who is the right person I can ask for professional help?
I'm really confused and worried.
But I do love him....what if it is hsv2?
Please educate me.
Thanks & God Bless
Because hsv1 does not often shed in the absence of obvious outbreaks.
Also about half of all Americans are already infected orally. You cannot contract HSV of the same type in both locations.
Your last answer stated that because this man has hsv1 genitally he will never pass it on, how is that so?
You've seen the results?
If so he's right. He will likely never infect you. Just avoid inter course when he has obvious symptoms.
While it's nice that he informed you, you're gonna want to know what type he has HSV1 or HSV2. If it's type 2, he has no idea when he's shedding. It's impossible to know when you would pass it on. His doctors don't even know that. So don't believe that part about knowing how to manage it.
It's most likely HSV2 and if it is, you WILL contract it as some point if you are married to him for more than a few years.
First figure out the type he has. Ask for his test results. And come back and someone here can help you from there.
