What do you mean by 'be seen for your symptoms'
yes your results are negative. be seen for your symptoms.
I re read your post once again and understood it . What do you think about my results ,is it definite
My exposure was unprotected oral sex and protected vaginal sex . My test results for hsv igG is
hsv1 is 0.60A.I and hsv2 is 0.22A.I . Is my result is definite ..The test was done by 3rd month.. Please reply . .
One more thing is that i didnt understand your previous post as i am not good in english .
the post you referenced was in regards to contracting hsv2 orally from performing oral sex. it did not cover hsv1 risks from receiving oral sex. HHH's posts are in reference to that posters particular situation so you have to be careful about just taking out bits and pieces of them for your own situation. make sense?
you can test for herpes with the herpeselect at 3 months. the WB and other tests need to wait a full 4 months. In studies herpeselect accurately detected infection at the 3 month mark a little better than other tests did. really not a huge difference though so the 3 month mark is fine except for if you need confirmatory testing for low positives - then you do need to wait longer.
bottom line is - you have a rash. it's new since the last time you were seen so it needs proper follow up. we can only help you so much online - nothing replaces a proper exam by a trained medical provider.

In some of the post it is said that only 4th month test for herpes is conclusive . Is that true
The risk of contracting genital herpes after you provide oral sex to another person with genital herpes would be very low. If at all you might contract oral herpes.
However you had protected vaginal sex. Condoms reduce the transmission rate of herpes by 30% and do not completely eliminate the transmission possibility. So, if the female sex worker had genital herpes, there is a chance that you could have contracted genital herpes but this is very low especially if it is a single incidence.
I think that is what grace might have informed you about.
Hello . I know you could help me on this . its related herpes i. have attached a post answered by dr.HHH .
http://www.medhelp.org/posts/STDs/CONCERNED-ABOUT-EXPOSURE-FROM-ORAL-SEX/show/1328286?personal_page_id=1771944#post_6154492In the above post dr.HHH has said herpes is not possible through oral sex . He has also said that there are only theoritical risk for herpes through oral sex . He has said he has never seen a case in his 30+ years . He also said do not waste money on testing for herpes . This gives me more courage and assurance . .But You have said me you can get herpes . Can you please explain me .
Do you think i should wait for my symptoms to grow . Because its little minute .
Only one question . What do you think from my symptom . Would it be herpes . What is the possibility for not being herpes
return to your provider then for another exam of your new symptoms. really nothing else we can do for you at this point.
