this was not herpes. herpes would not be there for months.

warts do stick around for months and even years.

Thanks Grace. So are u saying genital warts cab stay around got months? So the wart on my groin that the doctor froze off could be genital warts even if it was there since January? I'm just confused on what I'm worried about and when u said herpes. Could u please make it mre clear? I'm sorry I have bad anxiety and in just trying to understand an put this behind me.

warts will stick around for months or even years without treatment. Herpes lesions run their course and are healed in a week or so even without treatment.

herpes won't be there since december.

follow up with both of you getting full std testing so you can stop worrying every time something is going on down yonder.

No we didn't. All we did was the urine analysis for chlamydia/gonorhea. Both were negative. I forgot about the bump at the time because I've had it since December and it hasn't changed

since the provider just guessed and already burnt the skin, really no good answers you can get as far as if these are hpv or not.

did you and your partner ever follow up with herpes igg blood testing after HHH recommended a full std work up to you?

Hi Grace,

I went to the doctor today and had him examine me. He seemed hesitant calling it "genital warts" since there was only 2 spots but he said it might be. He then went on to use liquid nitrogen to freeze them off. He showed me a medical book of herpes and none of the pictures resembled anything like it  all the photos were warts in big red/whitish clusters. Then he sent me on My way. I'm torn because I have a gf and we have both been promiscuous in our pasts. I don't know if I have it or not.

Any more knowledge would be greatly appreciated.

are you still with the same partner from your post to HHH back in January?  if so, why still so paranoid about std's?

really, not everything is a std!!

Thanks soo much for your reply! May I ask why they don't sound like herpes or what would be more common symptoms? I'm new on this subject  and just plain nervous.

it sounds like you should see a doctor. they don't sound like herpes, but it wouldn't hurt to get them checked out.
