Am i good??

ok so I had unprotected oral sex in October or it was November I believe. And this took place last year and I haven't had any symptoms. And also I got tested for hsv 1 and 2 5 or six months after the activity took place. which it was the last week of April or the first week of May and both came back negative. do you think that's a good time period to get tested im 18. My mom wants me to stop worrying because ive been tested. and is oral sex even consider a high risk for herpes?? I mean I know you can get it but is extremely common??

ok thank you very much. I have been itching and tingling and think that's probably because I have been worrying lol . its not like a constant itch, its like a every now and then itch. but when I itch is no redness or  pretty much any of the symtoms affiliated with herpes except the itching but like I said its not constant and I guess that's natural for a male to itch down there. now I don't know what type of test they used I used the solstas lab and pretty sure they didn't used that igm mess im kinda relieved now because I know I waited the right time period.

Hi and welcome. Extremely common and most of the cold sores you see on childrens lips are hsv1. Then i goes away and most never have an outbreak again.
If  you tested negative at a 3 months mark then you dont have it.
