Can herpes Shed visibly?
Since i first contracted HSV 1 genitally 6 months ago i think I've had quite a few outbreaks… But the first on was the only one with actually sores, They hurt like hell and left even a little scar in 1 case. Since then The "outbreaks" that i believe them to be are just red areas of skin kinda popping up in the same general first infection location….
But usually prior to that and even after, and even when i dont have any red spots, It looks like my dick is shedding super thin layers of skin. Is this the viral shedding, just in a "symptomatic" form?
I used a ton of "Bio Oil" for a month or 2 to try to heal the scar that was created by the first outbreak. So I'm wondering if that caused me to have some sort of derma logical Reaction. Im hoping its just the viral shedding but it seems to have been happening for like 3 consecutive weeks now so that would also suck….

Hmm ok i guess ill need to check out a doctor a figure out whatsup...
And a few of the sores on the first outbreak were swabbed by the doctor, went back a week later, positive for hsv1

You skin condition is probably a separate condition to the herpes inflection and will certainly respond to the specific treatment for what it is.
