Anxiety over recurrent HSV2 outbreaks

I was diagnosed positive for HSV 1 and 2 about 8 years ago via a random blood test. My problem is that although I believe I contracted this since my teenage years  I NEVER had an outbreak until last year June: lucky for me my symptom was just one pimple sore on the right side of my vulva and not a massive outbreak. However I just keep getting this sore on a very frequent basis like almost every 2 months, I am currently on suppressive therapy aclyvoir, it helps but I don't understand WHY after so many years of no symptoms I am now being constantly plagued by this sore and so frequently? I cannot say that I am more stressed than before and my lifestyle isn't that much different than it was during my asymptomatic period. I also should have the antibodies by now to deal with outbreaks!

PS. The one difference I've noticed is that the first outbreak occured when I started a using a new clitoral masterbation toy ( the silver bullet), I always position it on the right side of my vulva at top super speed, and after using it the other night, the next morning the tingling and sore returned. Could this be the reason that triggers this? I hope not, and If so why? Please help.

Yes sex toys can trigger recurrences. Are you using a lube when you use it?

I can best help you if you call and get a copy of your blood test results to post here to make sure you were properly tested and don't need any additional confirmatory testing. All I need is the numeric results ie hsv1 igg 4.4 and hsv2 igg 1.3 or whatever they are.

I guess it's possible for your toy to be triggering an outbreak but I wouldn't like to say that's 100% the cause .... if you're feeling stressed or over anxious about anything on a daily basis that alone can set of HSV outbreaks ..... it's unusual to get them frequently if Suppressive Therapy is takenthough ......
Herpes is such a variable condition it doesn't always behave the same way for everyone.
Try relaxing and changing your diet eating healthier and drink plenty of water, this may help,it may not, but I think stress plays a big part in the number of outbreaks some people have it's a kinda vicious cycle ....stress = outbreak ..... outbreak = stress .....
