Are my symptoms hsv2?

Hello all any help would be greatly appreciated. I slept with a girl unprotected for maybe 20 mins back in early january 2017. She said she gets tested regurlary. Maybe 3 weeks later i noticed red bumps on the head of my penis but they didnt look like classic herpes lesions that were fluid filled or bursting. They were raised red bumps only under my skin as i am uncircumsized. Its smelled for a few days and it flaked for a few days as well. I used anti fungal cream which seemed to help but it didnt go away completely for at least 2 months. Also the redness and bumps would go away but would return after masturbation. I didnt sleep with my spouse as i thought the worst and considered it to be hsv2. But they went away altogther in March.  Fast forward to May 2017 and i got a small rash on my inner left thigh a few days ago and it looked like heat rash and it had a nasty cheesy foul smell, no itch, no classic hsv2 lesions or pain. I had it for maybe a few days as i didnt notice it so maybe 3 to 4 days and it went away completely. But also since i saw that rash on my thigh i immediately went back into my severe anxiety mode and then started developing all kinds of symptoms like pain in my left thigh, calf heel, just like ive read. But even since the rash has gone away i still have pain in my thigh muscles. I have refrained from sex altogether and am extremely anxious, i cant eat or sleep and im freaking out! What are the chances this could be hsv2? Do the symptoms sound like hsv2? Ive also gotten ahold of the girl since then and she still swears shes clean with no symptom, she was nice and understanding, but what if shes lying im scared, i effed up and need to man up. After 5 months post exposure, i swab tested and blood tested igg specific for hsv2 and all results were negative.

Not sure if this helps anyone, but i want to make a point here. I had all the symptoms of what I thought was Hsv2. For the last 5 months i have been in utter agony of not knowing my status, constantly obsessing and checking myself 100s of times a week. I was absolutely positive i had hsv2. My mind was already made up. As a grown *** man i cried and thought my normal life was over as i knew it. I made peace to a certain extent. I was still very stressed and depressed about the whole thing and even had what i thought was prodromal symptons when a rash would appear. Long story short your mind can and will play tricks on you when you have really bad anxiety which can affect you physically. I **** you not, the moment the lab called me and told me i was negative all of my back pain and thigh pain vanished later that same day. My mind hasnt been racing all day and im going to accept my results. There is hope, my advice is getting tested this is the only true way to kill doubt. I wish everyone peace and love!

Sounds and looks more like dry skin or eczema, weird question but have you been using lube, I ask because I've had the same thing happen because of excessive masturbation and not using lube, it's weird, but even without contact of the head the pulling on the skin can cause irritation on the head and shaft.

Hello again, i have what seems to be another rash on my penis, its got me so scared i made an appointment tomorrow to get tested for igg hsv2 5 months post exposure. I woke up without symptoms, masturbated alot today and now have this red itchy rash, no pain, and my penis feels swollen. It doesnt look like lesions ive seen online, but im losing my mind not knowing. Ill post links to what im dealing with. Please please any help or input please!

Sorry another question, i had a rash on my left inner thigh that i had barely noticed maybe a week or two ago. I initially posted about it but ive tried reading about whether or not a herpes related rash cause a foul odor, but all i was able to find was that it doesnt and smelly rash in upper inner thighs are mostly associated to yeast or jock itch. Anyone have any thoughts or experience on this? Thanks again yall trying not to freak out!

This is not herpes related. Sounds more fungal related. That being said i suggest an igg hsv2 blood test. This will put your mind at ease.

Ok thanks for your reply, so if i know i have hsv1, should i test for both again or just hsv2?
