I also forgot to add that where the bump showed up it wasn't painful, itching, or stinging and had no rash. The bump was skin colored with no red base
I forgot to mention as well I had two urine analysis done. One testing for clymidia and gonnorhea. The other looked for a uti they said. Both came back negative. Both were done 10days after the event.
No its not typical, most usually its a couple of weeks as once it opens it spreads the virus to the immediate surrounding area in a cluster type grouping.
The swab test was done within 24hrs of the bump appearing... Around 22hrs to be precise. Is it normal for an initial herpes outbreak to last only 3 days from bump to scab or is that very atypical?
Hi, to confirm your herpes status a blood test would also be needed as swabs are only good for confirming a positive not a negative also it would need to be swabbed within 48 hours after appearing.
Constant tingling is not a symptom of herpes when no sore develops but another nerve issue. Also tingling is called prodrome and is more for those who already have herpes and have had an outbreak before.
If the issue here is herpes from a new infection it would not be from the protected vaginal as the penis was covered but would be from the unprotected oral and if she did not have any lip sore at the time, the risk that you contracted it would be quite low.
Urine blockage issues are most always prostate related. And the tingling could be originating for the prostate and you think its your penis as all then nerves are connected.
Have your prostate checked.
By the way I forgot to mention the swab test result came back negative for hsv1 and hsv2
