Can Herpes cause high ESR & CRP?

I was diagnosed with HSV2 4 years ago (and have HPV type 18).  Since then, I have had high ESR & CRP labs.  Both have been re-run several times and aren't changing.  Could these labs be high because of the HSV and/or HPV?  I have no other general health symptoms and don't know if I should be looking for other causes or if this is the most likely cause.  Is there something I can do to lower my ESR & CRP levels?

not sure why they are even checking these in you but it's something that needs continued follow up on with your provider.  I'm guessing you have other issues going on that you had these 2 tests done in the first place - am I right?

In theory, since herpes is an inflammatory process, it could increase both a bit when you had an active ob going on but it shouldn't be causing them to be elevated consistantly.  same with hpv wouldn't keep them elevated all the time either.

Hi grace ... I had two risky sexual contacts since the start of October the first was unprotected with an ex on the 11th but was on penicillin due to tonsillitis at the time... I then went on s volunteering trip to Thailand where I felt flu like symptoms 2 days post contact... Slight yeast like symptoms too... Had a chesty cough as well... Continued my trip and on s drunken night out landed up going home with a person I met that night ... Made out where I had underwear on and my dress raised but he was not clothed and laid on top of me..Before vaginal sex ... He put on protected . I had just finished my period the day prior and had slight itching I felt was due to swimming for three days straight with tampons... About two days after that I felt flu symptoms yet again. I was put into diflucan and three days later metronidazole from a pharmacist in Thailand ... On my return home I was experiencing bad thrush symptoms . I was sent to be tested for malaria ,Zika and denge on my return at my GPs request and went to see a GUM who said they only found a small wart but no sign of herpes. They did a swab and it came back negative for candida but I was still experiencing thrush like symptoms . I later that week decided to have a wax as I had been away close to 5 weeks. About an hour after the wax a small spot skin coloured appeared on my groin with a small white head... Throughout the time I popped it but then checked with three doctors throughout the week that it wasn't herpes and the forth one said she would be surprised if an igg or igm came back negative . I did both and igg hsv 1 was 0.08 and hsv 2 was 0.562... The igm was 0.58... All negative . My cpr was slightly raised at 8.8... I have had pain in my legs and arms and headaches that come and go but am still struggling with this post nasal cough and have been put on augmentin 3 times a day during this time which I believe has aggravated the thrush . Additionally I took two morning after pills during this time even though the second encounter was protected I was nervous ... Last night I broke out in hives on my left leg that were gone this morning having left bruises and a small rash as to where I had scratched. Went to see another Gp and h said it didn't look like heroes and tonight the rash is gone...but the area is slightly sore to tough... He said it looked like regrowth from my wax... I  scared and confused with what is going on with my body. At the moment I still have the cough, have one day left of augmentin which has cleared it up a bit and have slight vaginal itching intimitidly and a headache that comes and goes... Please tell me me your opinion on my situation as I am driving myself crazy convinced I've contracted herpes...?

Thank you x
