Can a herpes scab be painless?

So I have this problem that if I have a skin abnormality, I have to pick it until it bleeds. I had a raised red spot on my inner thigh, and I thought it could've been a pimple forming. It was a wider area than a pimple would've taken up, though. I scratched, squeezed, and picked until I broke the skin. There was no tingling, and it's not that painful. However, there was clear fluid coming out of it. Could that have been herpes blisters forming? Like I said it's virtually painless. I haven't had any other herpes symptoms.

Also, don't tell me the picking thing is a bad habit. I know it is, and I want to stop. I do it out of anxiety.
