Can herpes be as small as a grain of salt?

I have been itching for the past couple of days around my labia majora, I let my pubic hairs grow out because I an scared to use a razor there since I've been itching. I have been looking all over and found a spot that hurt when I pressed on it with my nail, but it's so small, it's as small as a grain of sand, its on the pubic area of the outer vaginal lips, inbetween the hairs, it looks like a hair follicle but there is no hair growing out of it!
Oh and at the moment im being treated for BV and a yeast infection.
