Bama -
No I don't, and neither did the folks in the HPV forum.
Its rude to hijack other people's threads, and your question has been answered several times over now.
Aj
so you dont think this bump on me is related to herpes or hpv or any type of std?
In theory, its possible. Its not at all likely, though. Oral hsv2 is rare, and it doesn't shed very much if you did get it orally. Its all very rare - rare enough that I wouldn't worry about it happening.

Is it possible for someone to contract HSV 2 orally from their partners genitals? And then pass it onto another partner orally again?
Bama - your question has been answered.
Also, hsv2 is rare. It is NOT at all likely to happen.
Anal herpes is genital herpes. Herpes infects nerve groups, and genital herpes infects the sacral ganglia, which affects the entire anal and genital region. If your blood test shows hsv2, and they aren't just telling you its hsv2 because its below the waist, you didn't get that from fingering or oral to anal contact. You got that from sex - either vaginal or anal sex.

i had oral sex performed on me once, which was over 2 years ago. yesterday i found a red bump on my labia..what are the chances this is herpes or hpv??
Yes you can get HSV 2 orally. I jave never had genital contact on my anus, but I had someone who put a finger in me and also orally went down on my anus. I ended up with HSV 2 Anal.
What you need most of all is a spellchecker. Yikes.
also i assume that i would visably be able to see blisters or rashing pn the gential area.
so basically the likelyhood off transmission to my gentials is very low from touching here gentails with my hand then touching my gentials with the same hand.
And the HSV2 to oral is rare and prob not a concern.
thanks
Maybe the container was her piggy bank? haha. You will be fine!! If there were no symptoms and she is on that you won't get it..
she never actually told me she had HSV2 i have assumed this from seeing the acyclovir medication.
I also assume my risk factor is low.
thanks
Paul
You can get hsv2 orally but it's less likely to happen.
If you are going to continue a relationship with this person you should confirm exactly what dose of acyclovir they are on. If they really are only taking 200mg once a day that isn't enough to reduce your risk.
