could this be herpes or am I just freaking out and over reacting?

Ok so about a month ago I gave a guy head. A blow job was all that happened because I was on my period. He had previously been in prison for the past 11 months and he got out a week before we messed around. The only sexual encounter he had was with his ex. He was tested for herpes in prison and that came back negative and his ex was tested for herpes a couple weeks ago and that came back negative. So a week after I had given him oral, my friend texted me and said he has herpes and when I asked him he said that he got it from the girl he had sex with after me because 2 days after they had sex he started seeing signs and she had a lot of sexual partners. Anyway I was still freaked out though he said he got it after me. I am not a very trusting person though and I don't know if he's lying about being tested or his ex being tested so I don't know. I kept looking for signs and they never showed up but I never stopped worrying about it. So flash forward a month and I have this pimple looking thing pop up under my nose. I popped it and it was stubborn and I wasn't worried until it scabbed over with a yellowish scab. This sometimes happens when I wear makeup after I pop a pimple but im still super freaked out. Anyway I know that herpes blister fluid is really infectious and I do have another bump/pimple looking thing under that one but not so close that I would say they are a cluster. This one I am not going to pop but see if it oozes and bursts like they say a herpes blister will do. As of right now it is super small though and it doesn't look like anything but a red mark like before a pimple pops up. I never got any tingling, burning or itching with either of these but I'm am just so worried and paranoid. There isn't a whole bunch of personal experience stories about herpes on the face so I don't have a lot to go off of and I was wondering if someone could help me out. I'm thinking on going and getting tested tomorrow.

Incorrect on both. Hsv2 is nowhere near common and hsv is not a super contagious virus.

Even if he had hsv2 before your oral encounter the odds are extremely (EXTREMELY) low that you would acquire it orally. Hsv2 is rarely an oral infection because it simply doesn't like the oral cavity. Nothing you describe leads me to think your pimples were herpes related. You needn't worry about having oral hsv2

I have heard that but I have also heard that it is extremely contagious. I've been reading up on it and everywhere says it is common to get hsv2 in the mouth.
