Change in HSV2 result

Hi - I was possibly exposed to HSV in Nov 2009.  Unfortunately, I can't confirm if my partner at the time has this or not.

I tested positive via HerpesSelect in Dec 09 for HSV1 (1.21) and HSV2 (2.51).  After reading various postings, I decided to retest with HerpesSelect in March 10.  Positive again - HSV1 (1.21) and HSV2 (1.85).  I have read that the value itself doesn't necessarily mean anything.  My question is this:  since I am still low-positive, and the number decreased, should I retest with Western Blot?

I have never had an outbreak or any noticeable herpes type symptoms.

Thanks!

yes you should still confirm your status with a different test. the WB is still the best choice for doing this.
