Yes, but just redness in patches on the sides of my groin that itch at times. I have never had another blister since. I have read this is common. The only reason that I know conclusively that I have it, is because for a long time I never had any symptoms. This was when I lost my virginity so being naive, I thought possibly it was just friction or something. It went away and never thought about it again, until my partner tested pos for HSV2, which they have never had a blister. I immediately went and retested with the same results neg. My doctor said the only way to really diagnose would be to wait for a blister to culture....so wait I do, but I just don't undertand the blood tests and it makes me worry that other blood tests for antibodies are coming up neg when I really have something, such as hiv. Is it possible for someone to just "not" producte these antibodies?
Have you had any other symptoms since? It could have been something else that caused that blister.
