I know one can be shedding at anytime, but I have read that you are most contagious right before, during and a few days after a outbreak. So, would I be just as contagious for a duration of days if I was able to abort the outbreak? Or if Im able to avoid it would the virus gone back into "hiding"? Does that make sense?
it's hard to say how long you would be contagious for, because you could be shedding the virus at any time. have you read terri warren's book 'the good news about the bad news'? she talks in there about how to tell a partner.
