HSV1 Genitally

Hi. I have HSV1 genitally, but not orally. My boyfriend has HSV1 orally, but not genitally. My question is, if we decide to have children and engage in unprotected vaginal sex, is he at risk to get it genitally? What about if he gives me oral sex unprotected, I can't give him what he already has, right? Please hurry and give me advice :)

patience :)

hsv1 isn't an issue in your relationship other than if he has an active cold sore, he shouldn't perform oral on you because of the risk of bacteria from the genital area getting into his cold sore.  also avoid sex any time you have anything going on genitally too. you both have significant protection against contracting hsv1 on new places.
