Could a very small blister on my thumb be herpes whitlow?

I have HSV-2 and recently had an outbreak. I've been taking valtrex for a week now and just noticed this small blister on my thumb. It doesn't hurt but itches a little. I do not have access to a doctor right now and would really appreciate an opinion. I've been careful to be washing my hands and haven't had any cuts on my thumbs. I really want to take care of this and make sure it doesn't get infected and am very worried. What should I be looking for in terms of whitlow? Is it possible whitlow could manifest itself as one single small blister? There is no pain or anything. Please help.

Whitlow is most always very painful. That being said getting it looked at is always a good move.
