Hello ther terri,
I have been reading a few forums with yrou answers on them. I have recently will about 2 months ago got a bump on the head of my penis. I squezzed it and out came liquid like a pimple. It looked like a pimplk from day one. Then afterwards it jsut dried up. like a normal pimple would... Now i still have a red dot .. its no bump anymore. on the penis head.
Sometime i can see it and sometimes i cannot.
to me its not a blister. seemed liek pimple... is this normal?
i have not been checked yet, as i am really terrified..about it.
hope you can help me out to at least figure it out before i go to the clinic..
thanks
Good, I'm glad you are worried less now.
Terri
Thanka. I did have it checked out by a doctor and they say that it is very unlikely that it is herpes although they tested it anyways. She said that it looked like irritation (probably follicitus) caused by shaving and other things I put on it (neosporin, soap, etc). I haven't gotten the results of the herpes culture back yet but I'm not too worried anymore.
Ive noticed that too with my bumps. There just bumps not blisters and there is a hair follicle in all of my bumps too. I was wondering the same thing. Let me know if you get any feed back. Hit my inbox because i might not know how to reach this post again thanks
I think what's happening is that you are noticing hair follicles, do you think that is possible? Sometimes, when people have a risky sexual encounter or one that makes them feel a little uncomfortable, they start noticing lots of things that they might not have noticed before. But they symptoms aren't STD's. I can't tell you that you don't have an STD, but it seems unlikely given everything.
Herpes doesn't normally occur on hair follicles, no. If you contracted herpes at this sexual encounter, you would positive by antibody test anywhere from 2 weeks to 4 months later, people take varying amounts of time to make antibody. Transmission rates vary by length of time infected, gender, sexual practices and medicine used.
