Update and Confusion

Update

Ok so it's been, about a month from possible exposure May 17.  I been experiencing some weird stuff. From the day I thought I may have been exposed I took about 1500mg of Valtrex for two weeks. Face been itching, scalp, arm, neck, lip seemed irritated, felt like it was jumping so I just put Carmax on it and kept the pills. Around May 29 I noticed small white hard bumps around the inside of my under lips. On the right side about 5 small red, not fluid filled, a bit irritated but nothing like the look of what you see online on what a cold sore looked like or looks like. I only saw it when I pulled and tightened my lip back, I scratched it and irritated it trying to see if it would pop, or pus but nothing :(.  I went to the nurse practitioner and she said it looked like a mild case of a cold sore, no test or swab, she just did a visual. All she said was for sure if she swabbed it, it would definitely come back for HSV-1 because everyone has it. I didn't know how to take that or what she meant by mild case. Couple days later the same hard white spots went to the left side of inner lip then bottom of inner lip. So it liked moved =\ . Second doctor said it didn't look like a classic "case" or "look", so on May 31, blood drawn for testing. June 2, IGM and IGG Negative....... mind you I'm still on the Valtrex, not as much As 1500mg, but maybe 500-1000mg, depending on how many I decide to pop that day. These bumps don't seem to regress. I've tried abreva, lysine, Carmax, Valtrex, Benadryl, Tylenol.....
Doctor said it looked more like Fordyce Spots.

If you remember my original post, the possible exposure, was a lip to lip kiss, like a smooch. Nothing intimate, or with saliva, well barely, if any, and a small lip rub that lasted about 5 seconds, but nothing was present on the lips. Next day, a cold sore developed on individuals lip. Doctor advised that the risk of exposure was minimum to none.

So what do y'all think????

I agree (again) with your dr. Nothing you describe sounds even remotely herpes related.

I don't see it as confusing. I see it as something other than hsv. Your Dr is correct that you were at very little risk if any.

So question, Would these bumps even stay this long, 2-3 weeks with no change, be herpes?? Or any other explanations??
