Oral herpes or angular cheilitis?

A few days ago a weird thing appeared near the corner of my mouth. It looks like kind of like dried blood and it starts to bleed when I open the mouth too wide. It doesn't hurt or itchy in any way.
I looked up photos of angular cheilitis and oral herpes and it doesn't really look like either of those. I also read that angular cheilitis may be caused by saliva on the corners of the mouth and just before the 'wound-like' thing appeared I used to lick the area regularly because I had pimple that I popped there and it was a little bit hurtful. (now though nothing hurts in this area).
Can someone help me please?

Many times it can be opening your mouth to wide. Doesn't sound like hsv at all. Wounds in tbe corner of the mouth are not uncommon
