Do I have HSV2?

I frequently shave my vaginal hair and also get very bad razor bumps and ingrown hairs. I’ve shaved over them a few times, creating open sores. They have never been on my vagina, just the surrounding area. They do not scab yellowish and do not really leak. However, I’ve switched to using Nair in order to get rid of hair, I used it last night and now have small red sores on the outside of my vagina lips. They look like little cuts. I only used the nair on one side of my vagina which is the side the sores are on. I’ve recently had unprotected sex with a new partner and I’m just very nervous that I have herpes. Can Nair do this to your vagina? Because I didn’t have sores until after using Nair

Yes, nair can have this effect. I would go get the area looked at and swabbed. Have them do a pcr test for hsv to be safe
