Do I have Herpes

I Hope you can help.

6 Weeks ago I received unprotected oral sex from a SW. The encounter was brief, but ever since I have been very woried about catching an STI. I visited the GUM Clinic in the UK, who performed all the tests, all are clear except HIV which I am waiting for, however I am confident this will be negative.
I am very worried about Herpes as 2 weeks after the exposure I notice a small red patch on my penis, about the size of my little finger nail. This patch has tingled a little but no blisters or ulsers have appeared. I showed this patch to the my GP and to the doctor at the clinic and they both said it was not Herpes, however they could not perform a culture as there were no blisters and a blood test would not be conclusive.
It is nearly 4 weeks since I noticed tha red patch and the symptoms are still present, but do not cause me any problems. Am I emagining a problem, can you help?
The SW did not show signs of an OB, but I can not get it out of my mind.

Please help

There's so much  more than just herpes that can occur in between our legs. It's time to seek out other causes at this point.

Thanks for the reply, I appricate your time to answer me.

I have been to the Clinic twice, I have spoken to a Herpes help line in the UK and been on this forum and everyone is telling me these symptoms do not sound like Herpers so I need to move on.

Thanks for your help

This really doesn't sound like it's std related.

It's up to you how you want to handle sex at this point with your partner.  I can't help you with that part.

No I have not, as I know it would end our relationship. I have not has Sex with her since the exposure, claiming I have Thrush, but I know I can not keep this up for much longer.

Thank you Grace, I appricate your time in answering me.

I went back to the Clinic yesterday and told them about the tingling and the they inspected the pimple. Again they said they do not think it is Herpes, but as no blister they could not test for it.

Something I forgot to mention before was that I have had a pimple in the same place, about 1 week after my exposure, but it went within a couple of days (No other symptoms). Also I am circumcised and both the red patch and the pimple have appeared in the circumcision scars, which are lumpy at the best of times.

The small pimple is not painful to the touch, but i can feel a little pintch when I press it, has not developed any further. Other than this I feel fine, medicaly but mentaly this has scared me. I have a Long term partner and I am scared to pass it on to her, do you think I am safe to have sex with my partner?

Thanks for all you help.

Hi
Thanks for your comment, it has helped a lot. However since my last post there has been a development. On the 4th April (Saturday) I had a funny feeling in my penis, it was off an on all day. Tingling and a fiew small pains, also noticed that my urethra was a little red at the tip. Also a small painless pimple has appeared (Different place to the red patch detailed above) I have read that this tingling/pain could be the signs of an OB starting. I have not developed any other symptoms and the feeling has more or less gone today.

What do you think, am I beeing paranoid.

This sounds more like fungal than it does herpes. Your providers who saw it didn't feel that it was herpes either.

This is very unlikely to be due to herpes.
