Do I have herpes??

Do I have herpes?

I cleaned up my region with clippers on Saturday afternoon.  May have accidentally scratched my groin area with guard.

Saturday night I received oral with condom from a massage parlor.  Naked girl rubbed herself on my leg.

Sunday morning I have what appears to be a small red rash in groin fold.

Monday I appear to have a very small bump in the small red rash in groin area.  Experiencing an achy knee and extreme anxiety.

Tuesday I see doctor and he says "low risk".  Tells me to buy some bacitracin and apply and puts me on Valtrex for 10 days, 2x's daily.  Takes blood and urine.  Both come back negative for everything on Thursday.

Start first dose Wednesday.  Wednesday evening get mild burning sensation in between urine.  Does not burn when I pee but while I'm sitting it feels mildly uncomfortable.

Friday area is clear and symptoms are clear.

You need to follow up with your provider monday. there is nothing else we can really help you with at this time since you've had no testing for us to comment on.

Thank you for responding.  As a follow-up, I finished my 10 days of Valtrex yesterday with no outbreak(s).  I've been suffering from extreme anxiety.

On my last night of the Valtrex approximately 14 days from the massage parlor I notice a small red spot right on the tip of my penis, edging into the hole.  It is sort of sensitive.  My testicals are itchy sometimes but that could be in my head.  I've noticed no sore or lesion yet as it's only been a day since it appeared.  I am again experiencing a burning between urination sessions.  Although I haven't been eating and drinking much.

On another note.  My lips are extremely chapped or something.  I'm not sure if the Valtrex either stopped an outbreak or they're just chapped.

Any thoughts?  Do you think it's likely I have herpes?

Sounds like your provider had no clue what was really going on so covered the bases by telling you to treat for a bacterial skin infection as well as treating you for herpes just in case.  Since tests so far have come back negative, make a follow up appointment in the morning for more testing since now you have more symptoms.  could this be a std? Well it could be but protected oral sex makes it unlikely that it is.

it doesnt sound like it could be herpes to me. You used protection so i doubt you have it i think the fact that she rubbed herself on your leg poses no risk really. from my understanding it has to be genital to genital contact. Get tested for it in a couple of months but i doubt its herpes.
